Aric Schreiner graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 1978 with a BS in Business Administration, major in accounting. He started preparing income taxes that year and has continued gaining experience in the complex field of taxation for 30 years. Along the way, Aric’s experience broadened into the human resources field as he spent seven years as Payroll Department Coordinator and two years as a human resources consultant of an international organization with more than 500 employees. He gained invaluable administrative experience while spending seven years on the Board of Directors of a credit union.

In August 2005, Aric joined Gillaspy CPA Group, LLC, in Columbia. The following year he purchased the business outright and began operations as Columbia CPA Group LLC. In August 2007 the company moved to its current location at 8th and Cherry in downtown Columbia.
